Session Fees
Individual Counselling - $140.00 per 50 minute Session
A limited number of reduced-rate sessions may be available for those facing financial hardship. If cost is a concern, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’d be happy to discuss options with you.
As a registered clinical counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) my fees are covered by many private and employment-based medical insurance plans. Check with your specific insurance provider for more details.
I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
Payment
Payments are to be received by Leanne Atkinson Counselling prior to the start of each session via online credit card payment or e-transfer. You will be provided with a receipt to submit to your insurance provider.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
